He fooled all but a few. He chose not to fight the charges because he new there was to much overwhelming evidence. Was a loser. What a lie. I hope he loses everything and then some.

lol, I see your point, I’m definitely open to all points of view. This isn’t a topic in which I would want to form some sort of stubborn opinion. I haven’t heard all the facts yet. Thanks.

No, anyone who testified against him under oath, Armstrong dragged their names through the mud and tried to ruin them. He’s not an exceptional human being. He’s a cheater and probably got cancer from all those drugs he took, think about that.

I don’t care what anyone say, Lance is still an exceptional human being who conquered cancer. Yes he doped, but that doesn’t mean he still didn’t put in an incredible amount of work to get where he was. That can’t be ignored and the real frauds are the millions of people insulting him without having any idea what its like to compete in one of these events.

If he could have confessed, he would have done it in the summer, and pre-empted the USADA Report. Lance knew what was in the Report. He couldn’t confess then, he can’t confess now, he never will be able to confess unless Texas State Court law changes — he perjured himself in 2005, and confessing now forces perjury charges, no questions about it.

Lance is likely like a lot of us in this one way — he is probably not all that keen on years in jail, especially given he has 5 children.

LA won’t confess as that will directly contradict his 2005 sworn testimony under Texas State Court Law where he swore at threat of perjury that he had never drugged or doped. The Texas State prosecutor can sit on the fence unless & until Lance confesses. At that point, the prosecutor would have to uphold the meaning of “perjury” and indict Lance.

Because there was much at stake in the 2005 case ($7.5 million from SCA Promotions to Lance), there is no statute of limitations on the perjury.

Armstrong your a maggot all those clean dedicated athletes you cheated out of a win for seven years, all those kids that looked up to you you let down and the sick people that inspired you you let down.you have been removed of your titles they should also remove you of your drug money. You are certainly not welcomed back in Europe

As a collegiate American athlete. I am shamed. Everyone thinks we all are dirty and that is why we dominate sport. I know that is what I would think.

The very moment he calls a press conference and confesses…. is the genesis of financial ruin for Lance. Every living soul who contributed…. from his sponsors to his paid winnings from the Tour will sue his scrawny cheating ass off. My guess is he will never confess willingly. He needs to be dragged into a court of law and forced to tell the truth. Then locked away for a time and when he gets out….. forget him……

The American public is so forgiving and has such short memories, that he would be better off calling a press conference, tears in his eyes (crocodile or not) and confessing while being deeply apologetic. Within 5 years, he’s in everyone’s good graces again.

    Says it all.

    – He probably got Cancer from the doping, itself – and his Cancer is likely a consequence of that.

So your proud of Mr Armstrong that he cheated by taking dope just like the other cheaters and won?

  24. jahMoonCE says:

I don’t think anyone in America cares. It’s not on TV anymore.
Corporations are only trying to make money…they will give you everything when your up and kick you to the curb when you are down.
Yes, started reading. He didn’t need to do what he did…he was a “bad ass on a bike”. Yea, they are all guilty including the whiners who claimed they were victims. Too bad Lance cheated to such an extreme…he would have been great anyway…very sad. See what happens when he starts to talk.

  25. innismor11 says:

Agreed. UCI needs to be disbanded, and a new body, with all new people put in place. Greg Lemond would be good to be part of it, although I’m not sure he’d take it on.

USADA is keen to clean things up … but that’s their job. The rest of America (Nike?!? doubt it), I’m not so sure about either.
