Unfortunately when a mechanic/team manager DS etc is in the process of getting a rider back on the road, they sometimes forget things. Saw this live and obviously the guy is holding bike while rider gets a replacement, and trys to give it back once he realises the car is leaving. Saw a similar thing in the UK this year with Malcolm Elliot and Node 4 where he changed a riders wheel lent the old wheel against the team car and then drove off leaving the wheel on the road. They got the wheel back.
Here there’s the funny story; Scinto, the team manager of Farnese Vini, exactly the same night went to police to declare his bike was stolen and contacted many medias by saying his bike was stolen.
But then once Rai’s heard about it, they sowed this footage where you can see the…underpants guy who is trying to call/yell to Scinto for give back the bike so he didnt really steal it.
So bottom line, Scinto showed to be a prick cause he could at least wait some hours or day later.
