He won a monster stage in the Vuelta a few years ago and placed in another in TdF…. and has been targetting this race for the first time as the GC rider for his team. I’m not surprised but opinion confirmed. Props to his great support team. I think Scarponi’s team made an error in judgjent though by letting deGhent get away and focussing on Ryder on this stage.
LOL ! Another American climate change denier. My inlaws from the southern states don’t know the difference betweend weather and climate either. IMAGINE. SNOW at 10,000 feet in the alps in May??? WHO’d have BELIEVED it???!!! LOL
not sure if Rodriguez “blew it”…ryder has been massive in this year’s Giro….barring a crash and some other calamity…Ryder should take 1st place…much better TT than Rodriguez whose efforts have to be commended
thomas de gendt rocks! belgium for the win he might even be second in the end…or even win if hesjedal has a very bad day but i don’t think that’s gonna happen.
too bad for basso he couldn’t follow

Before the Giro started my favorites were, Basso & Schleck.
